Gamma-Type Stirling Engine
Over the course of my second semester, I designed and machined a Gamma-type Stirling engine for my "Machine Design and Manufacturing" class.
The course work gave me familiarity with precision machining manufacturing techniques including manual and CNC milling, turning with a lathe, and water-jet cutting. I also learned geometric dimensioning and tolerancing techniques and how to draft engineering drawings.
All the parts and corresponding drawings were designed and drafted in SolidWorks.
